ANNUAL SNO-HO RALLY & POKER DERBY

Come out and participate in a great weekend of activities.

Friday night Social at the Chalet, Poker Derby and Dance on Saturday,

and the crowning of the 2008 Sno-Ho Queen and draw for a 2008 Arctic Cat F5.

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Participants Alyssa Perlette—Miss Arctic Cat, Samarah Savoie—Miss Polaris, Kelsey Weir —Miss Yamaha, and Chandra Gillies —Miss Skidoo are out selling buttons to raise funds for $1,000 scholarship to go to the winner of the contest.

 

The judges, former Sno-Ho Presidents, Cyndy Ellek and Kim Wiens, Atikokan’s Cathe Hoszowski and Mike Krassey will be judging the girls on some of the following areas: participation in the Atikokan Annual Christmas Parade, attendance at various events such as the Sno-Ho Season Opener and General Meetings, Annual Easter Seals Snowarama ride, Annual Sno-Ho Rally, individual talent and button sales.

SNO-HO QUEEN CONTEST

 

2008 brought back the revival of the Sno-Ho Queen Contest. Reigning Sno-Ho Queen 1996-97, Jessica Veenbaas (Dickson), along with previous queens Sue Bates (McCallum) 1992-93, Christine Grant (Rundle) 1982-83,Tanis Hampshire (Cross) 1981-82,  Twila Smitsnuk (Jewell) 1977-78, as well as Kim Cross and Rachel Gascoigne make up the planning/organizing committee.

 

The Atikokan Sno-Ho Club welcomes the latest addition of a 2003 BR-180 Groomer to our fleet.

 

Thanks to the OFSC for replacing our Massey Ferguson Tractor with the BR-180.
